Robert Babcock joined Clark Hill as managing director of government and regulatory affairs. He previously was the General Services Administration’s regional administrator for the greater southwest region and before that was director of government relations at Van Scoyoc and legislative aide to ex-Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas).

 

The Natural Products Association named former Food and Drug Administration (FDA) official Sibyl Swift the senior vice president for scientific and regulatory affairs. Swift was the associate director for research and strategy at the FDA’s Office of Dietary Supplement Programs.

 

Raisa Sheynberg is now public policy manager of regulatory affairs at Facebook. She was director of international economic affairs on the National Security Council under President Obama and after that worked at APCO Public Affairs.

Joy Strand, former executive director of the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission, is now executive vice president at Green Leaf Medical, a Maryland-based cannabis company.

 

Ed Bedrosian, executive director of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, will return to the law firm Orrick, where he previously was counsel.
