Nashville-based lobbying firm McMahan Winstead & Richardson announced the opening of a new branch in Washington, D.C. The firm’s senior principal, David McMahan, will share duties in Washington, along with two other partners. He previously was a Senate page and an aide to ex-Sen. Howard Baker (R-Tenn.).

 

Steptoe & Johnson LLP added Joe Corrigan and Mike Williams as managing director and senior government affairs adviser, respectively. Corrigan previously was the Army’s key point person on Capitol Hill for base realignment and closure, military construction, land conveyances and Army leasing programs. Williams previously worked in the Virginia House of Delegates.
