Francisco Sánchez, former under secretary of Commerce during the Obama administration, has joined Holland & Knight LLP as co-chair of the firm's International Trade Practice. At the Commerce Department, he was in charge of the International Trade Administration. After the administration he was chairman and CEO of CNS Global Advisors.

Mike Sewell was named director of federal affairs with TECO Energy Inc. He previously was director of federal government affairs at Duke Energy Corp. for more than eight years. Before that, he was legislative director to former Rep. Eugene Clay Shaw (R-Fla.).

Andrew Ruskin was named partner at K&L Gates LLP's health care practice, focusing on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and compliance. He was a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP for more than 13 years.

Brian Johnson, a principal at the Vogel Group, launched the Recovery Coalition to advocate for additional economic assistance from Congress to support struggling businesses. The group will focus on ensuring Congress grants companies access to their unclaimed tax credits.
