Allen Thompson was named vice president of government relations at Intel Corp. He most recently was executive director of government relations at Raytheon Technologies for more than six years. Before that he was a principal at lobbying firm Mehlman Castagnetti Rosen & Thomas. Earlier positions included vice president of global supply chain policy at the Retail Industry Leaders Association and senior professional staff for Democrats on the House Homeland Security Committee.

Cognizant named Anil Cheriyan executive vice president of strategy and technology, effective Aug. 3. He was previously a Trump administration appointee in charge of Technology Transformation Services at the General Services Administration for nearly two years. Before that he was an executive vice president at SunTrust for six years.

Kevin Kincheloe joined Anheuser-Busch as senior director of federal government affairs. He previously was an aide to Sen. DoorDash Inc. hired Taylor Bennett, former head of public affairs at the bike and scooter rental company Lime, as head of public affairs. He worked at Lime for nearly two years and before that was director of public affairs at Pandora Media LLC and communications lead at Uber Technologies Inc.

Colin MacCarthy was named advocacy media relations specialist at the American Veterinary Medical Association. He previously was social media coordinator for Washington's professional football team, communications director for the Maryland Black Bears junior hockey team and press secretary for Rep.
