As more information about the upcoming “Friends” reunion slowly emerges, so are the identities of some of the cameos.
Guest stars who will appear on the special range from celebrities to well-known public figures. Among the listed cameos are Reese Witherspoon — the actress once played main character Rachel’s sister — singer Lady Gaga, activist Malala Yousafzai, model Cara Delevingne and singer Justin Bieber, among others.
The reunion won’t consist of a new episode of “Friends” or any scripted material. Rather, the one-off will include a discussion of the show’s history and filming by its stars, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry, with the cameo appearances worked in.
The show is still a ‘90s pop culture staple and remains considered among the most popular series of all time. The series ended its 10-year run on NBC television in 2004 and became one of the most popular television shows synonymous with '90s culture.
The “Friends” reunion will air in the United States on HBO Max on May 27.
