On Airbnb, fans of the hit children’s book can rent out a replica of Winnie-the-Pooh Bear’s house for two one-night stays.
Called the Bearbnb for the franchise’s 95th celebration, Disney and Airbnb are teaming up to bring an experience like no other, an authentic stay at Pooh Bear’s tree-hollow cottage, The New York Post reported.
The cottage was designed by Kim Raymond, a Disney-appointed Winnie-the-Pooh illustrator who has been drawing the lovable bear for more than 30 years.
“I brought Pooh’s house to life taking inspiration from the original decorations of E.H. Shepard,” wrote Raymond on his Disney-sponsored Airbnb listing.
Located in the Ashdown Forest in Nutley, England, which was the inspiration for the Hundred Acre Wood, the fictional land where Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends live, and the memorial ground for creator Alan Alexander Milne who died in 1956.
“I have been working with a team of experts to bring Winnie-the-Pooh’s ‘Tree House,’ as depicted in the classic A.A. Milne tales, to life … as part of Disney’s 95th Anniversary celebrations of the lovable children’s character,” wrote Raymond.
Original decorations from the book are present inside the cottage, including Pooh Bear’s signature hunny pots.
Booking for the house begins Sept. 20, for $105 a night.
