Midwest health care system urges vaccination in full-page newspaper ad amid COVID-19 surge

A Midwest health care system issued a public plea through a full-page newspaper ad, urging people to get vaccinated amid another COVID-19 surge.

“We can’t stop COVID without you,” the ad by Advocate Aurora Health reads. “The strain on our health care team is undeniable. Beds are full. Wait times are long. And the doctors, nurses and countless others who have so skillfully and compassionately cared for our communities are hurting.”

“This is preventable. And it’s up to all of us to help,” the ad reads, adding, “The power is in your hands. Together, let’s stop COVID.”
