Joe Rogan announces he’s going on meat and fruit diet for next month

  • Although it is important to consume protein, cutting out all vegetables from ones diet is not usually recommended.

Podcast host Joe Rogan is starting a “carnivore diet,” committing to only eating meat and fruit for the rest of the month.

Rogan announced he would give up almost every food group in an Instagram post last week.  

“January is world carnivore month. This time I’m adding fruit to this diet. Just meat and fruit for the whole month,” the UFC host wrote.

Rogan has previously tried a ‘carnivore’ diet n January 2020 and spent 30 days only eating grass-feed beef, elk and eggs, along with vitamins and supplements like amino acids and fish oil, according to Men’s Health magazine.   

As a result of the diet, the podcast host lost 12 pounds and noticed an increase in energy and relief from some prior health issues.  

Rogan admitted during an interview with Men’s Health that the diet had its drawbacks on his digestive system.
