Latina Leaders Summit

With hundreds of women running in this year's midterm elections, 2018 is already being called the “Year of the Woman.” At the same time, women are also taking a stand for equal rights and opportunities in their public and private lives, setting the stage for change.

Today, when Latinas hold barely 1.5 percent of major public offices, how are current Hispanic women leaders encouraging the next generation to pursue leadership opportunities in politics and government? Likewise, how can Latina leadership be fostered in the world of business? What conditions need to be created to support Hispanic women entrepreneurs?

The Hill and The Hill Latino will convene Latina leaders from both the public and private sectors for the second annual Latina Leaders Summit, featuring a series of high-level conversations on diversifying the pipeline of tomorrow’s Hispanic women leaders.
