Latina Leaders Summit

There were historic wins for Latinas across all levels of government in last year's midterm elections, prompting some to call 2018 the "Year of the Latina." Although significant progress has been made, Latinas still remain one of the most underrepresented demographics both in the U.S. government and the private sector.

What will it take for Latinas to reflect the demographic composition of the U.S. across all sectors? How can leaders in Congress and industry work to level the playing field for Latinas who face disproportionate challenges when it comes to access to jobs, education and health care? How can the stories of successful Latinas be highlighted and what can we learn from them?

The Hill brought together Latina leaders from across the United States for the third annual Latina Leaders Summit where we hosted conversations focused on empowering the next generation across the country.
