Swalwell says favorite 2018 meme depicts Trump's chief-of-staff search

"I have been the subject of political memes, but I have some favorites of my own," Swalwell told Hill.TV's Krystal Ball earlier this month, in an interview that aired Monday on "Rising."

"My favorite, probably, is the president having a young boy mow the White House lawn, and the meme says, 'Will you be my chief of staff?'" he said. "You can almost put anything on that picture, but that one is especially relevant now."

The meme surfaced earlier this month after Trump announced that John KellyJohn Francis KellyMORE would be stepping down from his role as chief of staff at the end of the year.
