Matt Stoller on Amy Coney Barrett's rulings

Matt Stoller, director of the left-leaning American Economic Liberties Project, joined Hill.TV's "Rising" on Monday to discuss what he said is missing in the mainstream media's coverage of President TrumpDonald John TrumpJudge rules to not release Russia probe documents over Trump tweets Trump and advisers considering firing FBI director after election: WaPo Obama to campaign for Biden in Florida MORE's Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.

Stoller said Barrett's time on the bench reveals a track record of anti-worker rulings that have put Americans at a disadvantage in legal disputes with their employers.

"Barrett ruling against gig workers who were not granted overtime pay is just standard," Stoller said. "It's taking away people's rights to actually get access to the court system when they've been cheated."

"This is a really good example of the real stakes of the Supreme Court," he added.
