Political reporter says Russia probe could galvanize Dems ahead of 2020

"I don't imagine Democrats getting less fired up than they were in 2018," Yokley told Hill.TV's Jamal Simmons on "What America's Thinking."

"I can only imagine them getting more fired up, and I think that the driving force for the Democratic Party in the next couple of years is beating Donald Trump."

BuzzFeed News reported late on Thursday that federal investigators have proof that President Trump directed his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about plans to construct a Trump property in Moscow. 

Other news outlets have not confirmed the report, however, and the White House has deemed the report categorically false.
