Poll: Democrats, Republicans equally excited to vote for their candidate

Democrats and Republicans are equally excited to vote for their party's candidate, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds.

Fifty-seven percent of Democratic voters said they are very excited to vote for Biden, while 62 percent of Republican voters said the same of Trump.

The survey found 92 percent of Democrats said they would be upset if Biden loses, including 78 percent who said they would be very upset.

By contrast, 87 percent of Republicans said they'd be upset if Trump loses the election, including 57 percent who said they would be very upset.

The Hill-HarrisX poll was conducted online among 1,897 registered voters. It has a margin of error of 2.25 percentage points.
