Trumps preview Governors Ball

First Lady Melania Trump said the White House will leave political labels aside Sunday night, as the Trumps host the annual Governors Ball for the nation’s governors.
“I am proud to invite all the governors to the White House for this important annual event,” the first lady said in a press release. “Tonight, we come together as one Nation, leaving political labels and partisan interests behind.”
The White House will host the ball Sunday evening, at the same time as the Oscars and amid the National Governors Association’s annual winter meeting this weekend in Washington, D.C.

The theme for the Sunday ball is “Spring Renewal,” according to the White House. Melania Trump said “the scents of jasmine and roses fill the air as we give thanks for this great Nation and the glory of renewal.”
