"It's about every day," Priebus said on CBS's "Face The Nation."
"It's happening quite frequently ... and I think those are just going to ramp up as we get closer to Jan. 20."
A report surfaced last month that said the president-elect had been turning away intelligence briefings since winning the presidency. He had reportedly been receiving a number of intelligence briefings that was far lower than his predecessors.
But Priebus said Sunday the president-elect is "certainly informed."
"He's getting briefed and it feels like every day," Priebus said.
"I'm not sure if it is every day, but it's a lot. And it's who he is. Someone who studies and someone who wants to be informed and someone who asks a lot of questions and listens."
