Manigault, who appeared on the first season of NBC's "The Apprentice," will serve on the president-elect's executive committee, the transition team announced Thursday.

She joins more than two dozen Trump loyalists on the committee, which includes a number of lawmakers, senior advisers and incoming White House aides.

The reality TV personality was a top surrogate for Trump on the campaign trail, attending the Republican National Convention in July. She later joined Trump's campaign, serving as his director of African-American outreach.

In an interview with ABC News's "20/20" last month, Manigault said she had received threats and caught a lot of "flak" for working with the president-elect.

“I will never forget the people who turned their backs on me when all I was trying to do was help the black community," she said.
