President Trump on Monday slammed the media for being “rude” to his representatives.

Trump’s senior counselor, Kellyanne Conway, made multiple appearances before his tweet on Monday morning to defend her recent surveillance claims.
On ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Conway said she had “no evidence” that Trump Tower was monitored “in any number of ways,” as she suggested in an interview with a newspaper in New Jersey. She instead insisted she was discussing “surveilling generally.”

An Obama spokesperson issued a statement denying that the president or any White House official ordered such surveillance.
