White House press secretary Sean Spicer is slated to be the “special guest” at a fundraiser for the Republican Party of Virginia on Thursday.

The invitation touted the venue — the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va. — as a regular weekend destination for President TrumpDonald John TrumpLev Parnas implicates Rick Perry, says Giuliani had him pressure Ukraine to announce Biden probe Saudi Arabia paid 0 million for cost of US troops in area Parnas claims ex-Trump attorney visited him in jail, asked him to sacrifice himself for president MORE, The Washington Post reported.

Virginia GOP spokesman David D'Onofrio told the Post that Spicer “is proving to be a very significant draw, and people are very interested in coming to the event.”

It is unclear how many people are expected to attend. Ticket prices for the event start at $125 per person. Some ticket packs reportedly cost upward of $6,000 for six tickets for access to both the general reception and an exclusive VIP reception.

The invitation also includes a disclaimer that Spicer’s participation is not to solicit funds by him, in order to comply with the White House ethics rules.

“Mr. Spicer is a special guest for this event. His participation in the event is not a solicitation of funds by him,” it reads.

Susan Platt, a Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor in Virginia, compared Spicer’s fundraiser appearance to the recent skit by NBC’s "Saturday Night Live" in which Spicer, played by actress Melissa McCarthy, drives a lectern to New York to beg Trump for his job.

“It’s no surprise that Spicey is rolling his podium to Trump National,” she said in a statement. “This event has all the comic makings of a ‘Saturday Night Live’ skit, but in real life. Unfortunately, there’s nothing funny about taking health care away from 24 million Americans, jeopardizing women’s health and setting a horrible example for our kids through hateful rhetoric and dangerous policies. Donald Trump and Spicey should take their hate and keep it on the other side of the Potomac River.”
