President Trump early Sunday praised the government agencies dealing with Tropical Storm Harvey.

"Great coordination between agencies at all levels of government," Trump tweeted.

"Continuing rains and flash floods are being dealt with. Thousands rescued."

In a subsequent tweet, Trump added that there is "great talent on the ground."

"Many people are now saying that this is the worst storm/hurricane they have ever seen. Good news is that we have great talent on the ground," Trump tweeted.

The storm — which made landfall in Texas on Friday night as a Category 4 storm before it was downgraded — resulted in at least two deaths.

At least 14 other people have been injured, according to The Associated Press.

Severe flooding is reported in Houston and other towns in southeast Texas.

More than 1,000 people had been rescued in the area overnight, according to CNN.

Hundreds of thousands of people also remain without power.
