Congressional leaders to visit Trump next week at White House

Congressional leadership will be meeting with President Trump at the White House next week.

The meeting comes after the August recess and ahead of a busy September that poses a series of challenges for Republicans.

Congress faces deadlines to raise the debt ceiling and fund the government and will also be under pressure to provide aid in response to Hurricane Harvey. 

It also comes after a month in which Trump repeatedly feuded with McConnell, aggravating tensions among Republicans in Washington.
