President Trump on Wednesday afternoon congratulated his former chief of staff Reince Priebus on returning to his old law firm.

“Congrats to @Reince Priebus, a really good and talented man. We’re proud of you Reince!” Trump tweeted.

Priebus announced on Twitter on Wednesday that he’s rejoining Michael Best and Friedrich LLP in Wisconsin as its president and chief strategist.

On Tuesday, the former Republican National Committee chairman told Politico that he will use his position at the law firm to advise clients on how to work alongside Trump, adding that he would not register himself as a lobbyist or take work for foreign governments.

Priebus left his role as chief of staff in July and was replaced by John KellyJohn Francis KellyMORE. Priebus’s 189 days on the job are the shortest tenure of any White House chief of staff in history. He frequently clashed with other Trump advisers, including Anthony Scaramucci.
