The Palm Beach Daily News on Tuesday reported that street closures and checkpoints near Mar-a-Lago would start Thursday morning.

The Federal Aviation Administration last week put a “VIP Movement” alert in place that will begin Friday and last until New Year's Day in the Florida town, the report said.

The White House has not released the president’s holiday plans, the newspaper noted. But Trump spent last Christmas as president-elect at his Mar-a-Lago club, which he has dubbed “the winter White House.”
