"Jake Tapper of Fake News CNN just got destroyed in his interview with Stephen Miller of the Trump Administration," Trump tweeted.

"Watch the hatred and unfairness of this CNN flunky!"

Tapper cut off Miller after a heated interview on Sunday, saying he did not want to waste his viewers' time.

"I get it. There’s one viewer that you care about right now and you're being obsequious and you’re being a factotum in order to please him, OK,” Tapper said after sparring with the Trump aide.

“And I think I’ve wasted enough of my viewers’ time. Thank you, Stephen,” Tapper added before concluding the interview.

Miller had been defending the president and blasting the network's coverage of the White House.

“Not only do I think they help it, but I think in the toxic environment that you've created here and CNN and cable news, which is a real crisis of legitimacy for your network,” Miller said.

"Here’s the interview; judge for yourself:" Tapper tweeted.

Relations between the Trump administration and the network have been heated over the past year.

Trump famously dubbed the channel as "fake news" a year ago.
