According to a pool report, Trump had invited supporters who stood alongside his motorcade route from his golf club in West Palm Beach, Fla., to the resort.

The White House later released photos of Trump with supporters to the press.

Supporters standing alongside the route included about two dozen people with signs that read “Trump 2020,” “No DACA Amnesty” and “Very Fake News,” according to an earlier pool report.

It’s unclear which supporters were invited to Mar-a-Lago and if those mentioned in the pool report were the ones that received the invitation.
