Trump offers condolences to Ky. governor after deadly high school shooting

Matt Bevin (R) on Wednesday about the deadly shooting at a Kentucky high school, the White House announced.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters at Wednesday’s briefing that the president called Bevin to offer condolences for the school shooting.

On Tuesday, two 15-year-old students were killed and more than a dozen others were injured at Marshall County High School in western Kentucky.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families there and we offer our sincerest appreciation to the heroic Marshall County deputy who apprehended the shooter," Sanders told reporters at Tuesday’s briefing.
