A Politico/Morning Consult poll finds 57 percent of voters said that Trump is reckless, while just 30 percent said he is not.
Fifty-four percent of respondents said Trump is profane, compared with 28 percent who said the opposite.
A majority, 51 percent, said he is sexist.
Slightly less than half, 46 percent, said they think Trump is racist, while 40 percent of respondents disagree.
Thirty-five percent of voters said Trump is honest.
Only about a third of respondents said they think Trump is trustworthy and compassionate, pollsters found.
The poll surveyed 1,994 registered voters from Jan. 18-20 and has a margin of error of 2 percentage points.
A poll conducted earlier this month found a large majority of American voters say they don't believe Trump is a good role model for children.
That poll found 67 percent of voters said they believe Trump is not a good role model, compared to 29 percent who said he is.
