First lady Melania Trump is set to depart on Monday for her first major solo international trip, where she will visit four countries in Africa over the coming week.

The Associated Press reported that the first lady will arrive in Ghana on Tuesday. She will then travel to Malawi, Kenya and Egypt.

Trump announced plans for her trip to Africa last week during the United Nations General Assembly’s annual meeting. She lauded her upcoming stops as four “beautiful and very different” African countries, that have made “great progress in overcoming some of their biggest challenges.”

Trump, 48, launched Be Best — a children’s wellness and anti-bullying initiative — earlier this year.

President Trump will not join the first lady on her trip to Africa. The president stoked controversy earlier this year when he reportedly questioned why the U.S. was accepting so many immigrants and refugees from “shithole countries” like Haiti, El Salvador and some African nations.
