"We just passed each other in LaGuardia [New York airport] the other night," she told CNN's Don Lemon. "I saw him and was like, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s Michael Cohen.' "

"I was with my bodyguards and my tour manager and stuff and we were like, ‘Hi,’ and he was like, ‘Hey, guys!’ " she said. "And turned around and smiled at us. It was very strange."

Daniels said he looked "happy and healthy," like he "had a weight off his shoulders."

She tweeted about the encounter Sunday, saying, "Michael Cohen just said hi to me in the airport. I meant to take a flight to NY but think I just landed on Mars."

Cohen over the summer pleaded guilty to eight federal counts, including a campaign finance violation related to a "hush money" payment of $130,000 he made to Daniels ahead of the 2016 election in exchange for her silence about an alleged affair with Trump.

The former Trump lawyer in his guilty plea implicated the president, saying he made the payments to Daniels and one other woman at the direction of a federal candidate who later became president.

Daniels says that Cohen's plea proves she was not lying in her story that Trump told Cohen to pay her to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

"He admitted that I wasn’t lying and that Trump had ordered him to do this," Daniels said on CNN. "In a way, I guess I forgive him."

Daniels is currently suing Trump and Cohen to void the nondisclosure agreement she signed when she accepted the money in 2016. She is also suing the president for defamation in a separate lawsuit.

She told Lemon that she harbored "ill feelings" towards Cohen for a "long time" but appreciates that he told the "truth."

"In the end, he kind of did the right thing," she said.

Trump has denied the allegations from Daniels.
