“I get it, you wanted an Indian woman, but Elizabeth Warren failed her DNA test,” Haley joked during her monologue. “Actually, when the president found out that I was Indian-American, he asked me if I was from the same tribe as Elizabeth Warren."

Warren on Monday released the results of a DNA test, which Stanford University professor Carlos Bustamante said "strongly support" Warren's Native American ancestry.

The Cherokee Nation on Monday responded to Warren's release of her DNA test results, calling the move "inappropriate" and "wrong.”

Trump has repeatedly gone after Warren's claims of Native American heritage and frequently calls her the racially charged nickname "Pocahontas."

He blasted Warren after her revelation and claimed that she had taken a "phony" test.

"Pocahontas (the bad version), sometimes referred to as Elizabeth Warren, is getting slammed. She took a bogus DNA test and it showed that she may be 1/1024, far less than the average American. Now Cherokee Nation denies her, 'DNA test is useless.' Even they don’t want her. Phony!" Trump tweeted.

Haley, a former South Carolina governor and rising Republican star, resigned earlier this month and will leave the position at the end of the year.
