China's sees slowest economic growth in three decades amid US tariffs

China reportedly experienced its lowest economic growth in decades in 2018, due to less domestic demand and U.S. tariffs. 

The country's fourth-quarter gross domestic product grew at 6.4 percent -- its slowest pace since the global financial crisis, according to Reuters.

That pulled full-year growth down to 6.6 percent, the slowest annual pace since 1990, the news service added.

China's GDP in 2017 was 6.8 percent. 

Beijing said trade talks with the U.S. have concluded, and results will be released soon.
