"Everyone is asking how Tiger played yesterday," Trump tweeted. "The answer is Great! He was long, straight & putted fantastically well."


Trump played a round of golf on Saturday with Woods and Jack Nicklaus. It was Trump's first visit to one of his golf courses in 2019. The president tweeted that Woods, who trails only Nicklaus in terms of all-time major championship victories on the PGA Tour, shot a 64 at Trump International Golf Club in Jupiter, Fla., which would be eight strokes under par.

Woods, who has 14 major victories to Nicklaus's 18, has not won a major tournament since the 2008 U.S. Open. The major championships include the Masters, the U.S. Open, the British Open and the PGA Championship.

Trump is a regular golfer, and has played previously with both Woods and Nicklaus. Woods has done business with the Trump Organization, designing the company's course in Dubai. Nicklaus endorsed the president in 2016 and has designed the Trump course in Jupiter, Fla.
