White House releases photos of Trump, Rush Limbaugh playing golf

In all three photos, Trump is shown wearing a polo, dark pants and a white campaign hat while smiling alongside Limbaugh. The men appear with Thompson in a third photo.

The White House typically doesn't release photos of Trump's golf partners, nor does it usually share details of his trips to hit the links.

Limbaugh has been a vocal supporter of Trump and encouraged him to launch a counterinvestigation into the Mueller probe, which the president has long dismissed as a "witch hunt." Trump continued to attack the special counsel report Saturday on Twitter, claiming that it "was written as nastily as possible" by "true Trump Haters."

Trump and Limbaugh's golf outing took place at the president's Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla. The White House said Friday that Trump golfed with "Limbaugh and a couple friends," though the friends were not named. Trump is at his Florida resort for Easter weekend.
