Trump knocks Mueller over Russia probe: '18 Angry Democrats' and '0 collusion'
President Trump offered his latest comments railing against special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation on Saturday, posting a video complaining about the size and cost of the probe.
Trump continued to characterize the probe as being led by "18 Angry Democrats" in a "by the numbers" video posted to Twitter. The video also complained that the probe cost $30 million and took 675 days while resulting in a finding of "0 collusion" and "0 obstruction."
Earlier Saturday, Trump also criticized the report, which he said was "was written as nastily as possible" by "true Trump Haters."
Trump has lashed out in a series of tweets over the past two days against the 448-page report released by the Justice Department in partially redacted form on Thursday.
The sprawling document detailed the Trump campaign's contacts with individuals in Russia during the 2016 campaign but said it could "not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated" with Russian efforts to interfere in the election.
And while Attorney General William Barr has declined to pursue an obstruction of justice case based on the investigation, Mueller's report detailed 10 "episodes" in which Trump may have obstructed justice and concluded Congress has the authority to conduct obstruction probes.
Trump has insisted that the report clears him. The report itself states that while it "does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him."
Trump's 2020 reelection campaign on Thursday began running Facebook ads declaring that the report proves "NO COLLUSION," "NO OBSTRUCTION" and "COMPLETE EXONERATION."
