Hicks, who served on President TrumpDonald John TrumpGOP congressman slams Trump over report that U.S. bombed former anti-ISIS coalition headquarters US to restore 'targeted assistance' to Central American countries after migration deal Trump says lawmakers should censure Schiff MORE's 2016 campaign and worked as a communications aide in the White House, testified for nearly eight hours behind closed doors Wednesday.

The transcript, which stretches 273 pages long, shows White House lawyers repeatedly blocking Hicks from answering questions about her work in the Trump administration.

Lawyers invoked the argument that she is immune from compelled congressional testimony on the subject, something that infuriated Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday as they entered and exited the hearing room.
