"I think she'll deliver a powerful message to the American people," Navarro said of the first lady, who is set to speak on Tuesday night.
He likened her to the late Jackie Kennedy for her "beauty, the elegance, the soft-spokenness."
The White House on Saturday revealed new images of the recently renovated Rose Garden.

He also said a lobsterman from Maine, Jason Joyce, would make an appearance Tuesday to talk about aid offered by the administration through the Department of Agriculture to help with the industry's struggles with China's escalating trade tariffs.
