The Hill’s Amie Parnes and Jonathan Allen are following up on their bestseller “Shattered” with a new book on the 2020 presidential election.

The new untitled book, to be published by Crown Publishing Group, will cover what appears to be a wide-open race for the Democratic nomination for president and President Trump’s own reelection bid.

Parnes and Allen are following “Shattered: Inside Hillary ClintonHillary Diane Rodham ClintonHillary and Chelsea Clinton to host series based on their book 'Gutsy Women' Democrats see spike in turnout among Asian American, Pacific Islander voters Biden officially announces ex-Obama official Brian Deese as top economic adviser MORE’s Doomed Campaign,” which debuted as The New York Times No. 1 bestseller.

The book gives firsthand accounts of Clinton’s campaign and suggests that infighting within the Democrat’s team and the lack of a message contributed to her shocking loss to Trump.

TriStar has optioned rights to film “Shattered” as a limited television series.

Parnes has covered the White House and presidential campaigns for The Hill since 2011.

She and Allen, a columnist at Roll Call and adjunct professor at Northwestern University, are also the co-authors of “HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton.”

The two authors have a website for updates on their work at www.jonathanallenandamieparnes.com.
