The U.S. earlier Thursday dropped its largest non-nuclear bomb on Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) targets in Afghanistan, the first time such a weapon has been used in combat.

The president also signed a bill Thursday that nixed an Obama-era rule blocking states from defunding healthcare providers for political reasons.

The rule required that state and local governments distribute Title X services for funding related to contraception, fertility, pregnancy care and fertility.

Former President Obama’s regulation stipulated all health providers should receive Title X funds, even if they also perform abortions.

Democrats have criticized the bill as another attempt at stripping Planned Parenthood’s funding, while Republicans argue states deserve the power to distribute Title X funds as they see fit.

Trump reportedly threatened to withhold key ObamaCare payments during a Wednesday interview to coerce Democrats to the negotiating table on healthcare.

The president has also repeatedly faced criticism for the cost of protecting him and his family members during visits to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Fla.
