GOP rep: Let Mueller do his job

“Less is more. Say little. There’s nothing to say about this if I were president.”


Dent’s comments echoed those of other Republicans who have said the president should stop tweeting and let Mueller complete the probe. 

Mueller enjoys bipartisan support among lawmakers, who believe his reputation as FBI director equips him to lead the investigation into Russia’s attempts to meddle in the United States election and potential ties between Trump campaign staff and the Kremlin.

Trump has repeatedly tweeted about the Russia investigation, last week calling the probe a "witch hunt."
