The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is offering donors the opportunity to win an all-expenses-paid trip to stay in Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C.
"Want to experience The Trump Hotel during the holiday season in Washington, D.C.?" the House GOP campaign arm asked in an email sent to potential donors on Sunday.
"We’re sending a lucky conservative (and a friend) to our nation’s capital to experience the most magical time of the year ... Get an all-expenses paid trip and stay in TRUMP Hotel in Washington, D.C. for a weekend of Christmas magic."
The NRCC urged potential donors to pitch in $10.
In return, they can "automatically qualify" for the trip, according to the email.
Trump has faced controversy in the past over the hotel.
Earlier this month, Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee filed a lawsuit against Trump's administration over documents related to the hotel.
The lawmakers were seeking documents related to the hotel’s operations, foreign payments to the hotel and documents on the General Service Administration’s ruling that Trump’s hotel was in “full compliance” with terms of its lease that prohibit elected officials from holding the lease or receiving benefits.
