HuffPost reports that Collett, a well-known far-right activist, has said in the past that he admires Adolf Hitler, and was the subject of a documentary called “Young, Nazi and Proud."
In the documentary, Collett calls AIDS a “friendly disease because blacks, drug users and gays have it,” according to HuffPost.
He also says "Jews have been thrown out of every country" and that it's "not just persecution: there's no smoke without fire."
King did not return a request for comment from HuffPost on Tuesday when asked about the retweet.
King, a staunch conservative, has been supportive of strict immigration reform. Last year, he toasted the deportation of the first "Dreamer" protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
