Ocasio-Cortez mocks Fox News graphic featuring ‘radical new Democratic ideas’
Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Wednesday jabbed at Fox News over a graphic it aired that purported to show “radical new Democratic ideas” that she and her colleagues are supporting.
Ocasio-Cortez shared a screenshot of the graphic, which appeared to air on Tuesday. It listed “free college for all,” “free healthcare for all,” “Abolish ICE” and a “green new deal” as Democratic agenda items.
“Oh no! They discovered our vast conspiracy to take care of children and save the planet,” she tweeted.

Earlier this week, Fox News hosts and reporters appeared to make light of Ocasio-Cortez’s comments that she would not be able to afford housing in Washington, D.C., until her congressional salary kicked in.
She pushed back, calling it “bizarre to see 1%-salaried anchors laugh at the US housing crisis.”
Ocasio-Cortez arrived in Washington this week with other newly-elected lawmakers for orientation at the Capitol. On Tuesday, she joined 150 youth activists for a sit-in at House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi‘s (D-Calif.) Capitol Hill office calling for congressional action on climate change.
