“House Democrats are down with NDP, Nancy D'Alesandro Pelosi, the once and future Speaker of the United States House of Representatives,” he said on the floor in what appeared to be a reference to a 1990s Naughty by Nature song, "Down with OPP."

Jeffries, who is often discussed as a future Speaker, was met with roaring applause from the left side of the chamber.
