Hannity originally wrote “Amen!!” with a link to a tweet that said, “YES! All Americans must join together to MAKE RUSSIA GREAT AGAIN. Teamwork!!”
Though the tweet, which came from an account with the handle @donnielilhands, was deleted, Mediaite and several Twitter users took screenshots.

Another Twitter user criticized Hannity for not “reading carefully,” prompting the Fox News host to respond with an apology.
“Guilty. And you are 100% correct. My mistake and I erased it and humbly apologize,” Hannity wrote.
He also responded to a user who said they thought the retweet was a funny mistake.
