Agent: Tucker Carlson on track for one of biggest book deals in recent history

Fox News host Tucker Carlson is reportedly shopping a book or series of books to publishers and is in high demand.

“Tucker’s is easily the most sought-after book by a news personality in many years,” said Matt Latimer, a partner at Javelin representing Carlson, BuzzFeed News reported

“And he’s on track to get one of the biggest and certainly most well deserved deals in recent history.”

{mosads}A publishing source told BuzzFeed Carlson’s book is not going to be strictly autobiographical, but will instead touch on different themes.
Carlson moved into former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly’s coveted 8 p.m. slot after O’Reilly was ousted from the network in the wake of a sexual harassment scandal.
O’Reilly said Monday he is “sad” he’s not on television anymore and admitted he’s “surprised” how the situation turned out. He also said he is “very confident the truth will come out” surrounding the allegations that ultimately led to his departure.
Carlson previously had taken over the 9 p.m. spot from Megyn Kelly when the former Fox News host left the network for NBC. Carlson increased ratings on what had been the second-most-watched cable news show.
