CNN’s Anderson Cooper to interview Sally Yates Tuesday
CNN’s Anderson Cooper has landed an exclusive interview with former acting Attorney General Sally Yates that will air Tuesday night at 8 p.m.
The sit-down with Yates will be her first television interview since being fired by President Trump.
“In a wide-ranging interview, Yates reacts to the dismissal of former FBI Director James Comey and discusses the multiple investigations into the Trump campaign’s possible collusion with Russia,” reads a release from the network.
{mosads}”Yates also discusses in detail why she declined to enforce President Trump’s executive order barring immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries and the resulting personal allegations made against her.
The interview will air on “Anderson Cooper 360” Tuesday night during the 8 p.m. hour and comes one day after the Trump administration headed back to court to defend a revised travel ban.
Yates, an Obama administration appointee, was a veteran of the Justice Department before her Jan. 30 firing.
