A White House producer for Fox News announced on Twitter that Trump Jr. would appear on the show minutes after the president's son posted an email chain showing his conversations with Rob Goldstone, a British publicist who helped set up the meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya. 

Trump Jr. posted the emails Tuesday morning, shortly before The Times reported on their contents. Trump Jr. responded "I love it" when told that the Veselnitskaya came as part of the Russian "government's support for Mr. Trump."

“The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with [Emin Agalarov’s] father Aras this morning and their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia would be very useful to your father,” one of the posted emails, written by Goldstone, reads.
