Pelosi again refers to Trump as 'President Bush' in TV interview

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) during an interview late Tuesday again referred to President Trump as "President Bush."

During the interview with Fox affiliate KTVU-TV in San Francisco, Pelosi criticized Trump over his position on repealing ObamaCare, but called him "President Bush," who was in office from 2001 to 2009.

"Everything we have seen so far with the president has been about tax cuts for the rich," Pelosi said. "In fact, affecting California very directly, is the Affordable Care Act."

"President Bush has come out against that, as you know, and it is not even a healthcare bill," she continued. "The Republican bill is not even a healthcare bill. It's a tax bill disguised as a healthcare bill."

The gaffe went unnoticed by Pelosi and the KTVU reporter conducting the interview.

Pelosi has referred to Trump as Bush on three other occasions since January.

In an interview with Jonathan Karl of ABC News on April 30, the congresswoman jokingly apologized to Bush for confusing him with Trump.

“I’m so sorry President Bush,” she said to an amused Karl. “I never thought I’d pray for the day that you were president again.”

Pelosi, who's 77, has represented California's 5th District in the House of Representatives since 1987.
