Fox’s Watters: ‘Boy scout’ Kushner ‘couldn’t collude if you played tiddlywinks with him’

Fox News host Jesse Watters laughed off the media storm around President Trump’s son-in-law and White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and allegations of possible collusion with Russian officials during the 2016 campaign, calling Kushner a “boy scout” who “couldn’t collude if you played tiddlywinks with him.”

“The Democrats never let the facts get in the way of the scandal. They built this thing up like he was going to be this huge deal today and it was a mirage,” Watters said on “The Five” Monday night. “I think they broke in on NBC News, midday programming promising a lot of juicy stuff. They whiffed again.”

“[Kushner] is a boy scout. Look at his face,” Watters continued. “He couldn’t collude if you played tiddlywinks with him.”

{mosads}”He shook hands with the Russian ambassador once for about 30 seconds, and then he got roped into this dumb meeting and tried to get his tail out of there as soon as possible because it was so boring,” he concluded.

Kushner testified behind closed doors on Monday to the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is investigating Russia’s meddling in the 2016 presidential race.

Kushner said after the meeting all of his actions in the 2016 campaign were proper and that he did not collude with Russia.

The 36-year-old former publisher returns to Capitol Hill Tuesday for a second day of private meetings with members of the House Intelligence Committee.
