A CNN anchor listed off all of the controversial events to shake the Trump administration over the last four weeks after news broke that President Trump's chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, would be leaving the White House.
Host Brooke Baldwin started with Bannon's ouster as the latest development in the lengthy list of things Trump has done over the last four weeks.
"In no particular order, President Trump has: fires his chief strategist, fires his chief of staff, hires a new one, hires a new communications director, fires him, hires a new one, his fourth in seven months, publicly shames his Attorney General multiple times, loses a healthcare bill," Baldwin starts the list, referencing Bannon's firing, the hiring and firing of Anthony Scaramucci, Trump's criticism of Attorney General Jeff SessionsJefferson (Jeff) Beauregard SessionsOvernight Hillicon Valley — Apple issues security update against spyware vulnerability Stanford professors ask DOJ to stop looking for Chinese spies at universities in US Overnight Energy & Environment — Democrats detail clean electricity program MORE and the failure to pass a Senate ObamaCare repeal bill.
The list goes on including a number of other incidents, including the president's response to violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend.
Baldwin paused in the middle of her list to take a sip of water. "Sorry this is long," she says, before starting back up listing policies, statements and administration changes by Trump.
Bannon's ouster shook Washington, D.C., on Friday. The announcement marks a stunning turn of events for the man who had been the caretaker and champion of Trump's populist campaign message.
